Four times in the Old Testament, the Bible emphasizes the word “revive.” Each time it is used, it is used uniquely. In one instance, Elijah revived an old man, a young man, and a child, etc. Also, in Joel 2:28, God promised that He will pour out His Spirit on all classes and ages of people, reviving them. Altogether, the word “revive” is seen four times in the Old Testament. We must believe that He is a God who desires to revive His people! Yes, He will revive your child. You may think you are old and ready to die, but even then, He will revive you in your old age. Do you feel like you are in a hollow place? Even from that dry place, He will revive. To “be revived” is about not only receiving fresh energy, joy, hope, and faith for your fainting heart—but also about receiving renewed strength and passion to pursue your dreams, visions, and so much more. This refreshing word will readjust your heart and perspective and bring back a new zeal to go forward in life with a renewed passion. His Spirit does not take life but gives life.
